CEFLyncx is working in partnership with Blenheim Gardens and Roupell Park RMO, Community Engagement Team, Royal Navy Community Engagement Team and Cycle Confident to run a series of confidence building, educational and well being activities at various venues, over 4 days of the February school half-term week.
The project aim is to promote cohesion, celebrate diversity, raise awareness of youth issues and increase confidence in youth activities in Lambeth.
The programme will run from 10am to 3.30pm each day, from Monday, 12 to Thursday, 15 February 2018 offering opportunity for young people to participate in the activities below:
1) #IceSkating @Streatham
2) #NavyExperience: sports/team building, fun/interactive activities – laser Range, maritime themed – knot tying, navigational skills), Brixton Recreation Centre
3) #The Bike Doctor – BicycleMaintenance – #FixNRide; #StreetRules, Windmill Gardens
4) #PaintBalling @ Essex
Participation is open to all Lambeth residents aged 8 to 16 with volunteering opportunities for young people aged 17 and over.

This October school half-term week, CEF Lyncx in partnership with Blenheim Gardens RMO, Roupell Park RMO; Royal Navy Community Engagement Team and Cycle Confidence is running a programme of educational and wellbeing activities for Lambeth youths.
The activities will take place at the Windmill Park SW2 and will run from:
Time: 10am to 3.30pm each day,
starting from Monday, 23 to Friday, 27 October 2017.
Participating is open to all Lambeth residents aged 8 to 16 with plenty of volunteering opportunities for young people aged 17 and over.
We will offer places on a first-come-first-served basis with only 30 places on each day activity..
The activities that we are running are:
#BootCamp – a multi-sports event including boxing, rounders, football, table tennis and more
#NavyExperience: sports/team building, fun/interactive activities – laser shooting range, Maritime themed activity – knot tying, navigational skills
#FixNRide-The Bike Doctor – Bicycle Maintenance/repair service/tanning
#StreetRules -The Confident Rider – Bicycle Training sessions
#The Challenge -Your Estate Your Team – Inter-TMO Football Tournament
The objective of the programme is to provide young people the opportunity to engage with new learning and experience during the October 2017 school half-term.
The programme of activities with help participating young people to achieve/gain:
1) new skills and explore opportunities
2) improved confidence and self esteem
3) improved Community cohesion
